Welcome to the January in Japan review page! If you have a review of a J-Lit book, and you want the world to know about it, please leave a link, also giving the name of the book, the author and your blog, as demonstrated in the example below:
e.g. 'Botchan' by Natsume Soseki (Tony's Reading List)
Thanks for your contribution :)
This was a wonderful book, by a favourite writer.
ReplyDeleteThank you for organising this site, Tony! I am excited to read all the reviews posted! Lee-Anne (Lily Oak Books)
ReplyDeleteLee-Anne - No worries :) Hope you enjoy the month!
DeleteA very interesting & enlightening read.
ReplyDeleteI was going to add my review when I saw you'd already done that. What great service, Tony, thanks! P.S. Now I have more time to catch up on so many of the other posts I've missed.
ReplyDeleteRichard - Super efficient, that's me :) Perhaps you should have a look at the other post on 'The Temple of the Golden Pavilion' ;)
DeleteI could have read more but looking it's 2 days before month end, I don't think I will finish "Out" in time to post another one (and that great copy of Oxford book of Japanese Short stories is so awesome but very tiny fonts as well!). Thanks for hosting this challenge. Please do so more often. Maybe "April in Japan", "July in Japan", and "September in Japan" you know like the four season painting that Chinese painting most noted for. A challenge in every change of season. Think about it. :)
ReplyDeleteJo - Erm, probably not - one month has been quite enough work for this year, thank you very much! Glad you enjoyed it though :)
DeleteApologies if my review posts twice!
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting, Tony! I'm enjoying reading everyone's reviews and am looking forward to adding to my ever-growing tbr list.
MJ - No, all good :) Glad you're getting some more recommendations from our list!
DeleteOops, I don't think I did the Mr Linky thing properly (it's been a looooooooong day). But anyway, I've reviewed Yoko Ogawa's Revenge.
ReplyDeleteKim - All good ;)
